Supermoon

Tonight you might look up at the moon and see that it's quite large. You're not imagining it, the moon is actually closer in orbit tonight. The moon reaches perigee, the phenomenon I just described, which means a couple of things. Most importantly for me though, and other photographers, is that it makes for really nice, unphotoshoped photos with a giant, bright moon as a backdrop. Don't miss out of this momentous event in which the moon won't be this close again until August 2014. I don't know about any of you out there, but the moon has this magically quality that entices you to gaze upon it in all of its glory. Maybe it's just me, but for some reason I just love staring at the moon. Getting a chance to see a massive moon shining brighter than normal sounds awesome. So get out your cameras or just take someone special out for a moonlit date somewhere out of the way. No matter how you spend the night, at the very least, take the time just to look up at the night sky and marvel at the little things in life...or the big things in this case.
